Raw magic from the high desert of Joshua Tree, California, explore the sounds of lyric poet Palo Xanto. With a barebones style of primal grooves, mellow crooning and raw truth spitting, the flow exudes a seamless stream of consciousness with messages that speak to dreamers, truth seekers, soul searchers and outcasts from various walks of life.

With the release of his latest ep, A Path To Why (4/11/2025), the 4 songs take the listener on a journey of self exploration in the chaos of today’s world with questions of what it means to live in the “higher self,” what our relationship is with the planet, virtual “reality” vs inner truth, and human connection being our only true savior in the end. Produced by longtime collaborator Sahil Bahl, the sound is a combination of bluesy guitar riffs, beats that lean between desert rock and primal groove, and dusted soundscapes, expressing a simplicity and rawness that reflects desert life from the perspective of Palo Xanto.

As an active artist and community builder, Palo also curates a communal event series called HOMESTEAD SESSIONS in the High Desert which features some of the area's top artists and poets for an intimate and magical desert experience.
