Escaping the rush culture of downtown Los Angeles in 2017, Palo Xanto journeyed to the high desert of Joshua Tree, CA with an acoustic guitar and a microphone. This move turned into a personal and creative rebirth which spawned into an abundance of new songs and inspiration-fueled material.

The music can be described as High Desert Blues Rap. 

The style is acoustic and unplugged, intentionally raw and stripped down with no special effects, tricks or trends. 

With simple soundscapes to match the wide open landscape of the desert, the flow is relaxed and the groove of the music is dusted with heavy grit, stoned poetics, and pure, raw magic. 

Palo Xanto (fka Pic.) has a background in music which stems from various groups and projects since the late 90's, all raw and all underground in nature. Here are some of the notable ones to date:

- Illa-Dapted - alternative hip hop

- The Chilla - acoustic rock/rap

- Pic Vicious - dark wave/electronic

- Got Damage - alternative hip hop 

- PNG. - glitch rap

Palo Xanto is his first official solo endeavor with the debut project RAW MAJIK out now on all streaming platforms.
